Mark started in the commercial real estate business in 1989 handling retail property leasing for landlords and tenant representation for small local tenants. The past nine years Mark has specialized in Investment Sales handling the disposition of single tenant and multi-tenant unanchored strip centers throughout the Southeast on an Exclusive basis for private trust, private investors, developers and syndications. Mark has also handled disposition work for GE Capital FFCA, American General Finance and Archon Goldman for properties in second and third tier markets throughout the Southeast. His market niche is deals in the $1,500,000 to $9,000,000 price range. Many of his buyers the past three years have been the 1031 exchange buyer from the west coast. Mark’s experiences and the resources of The Shopping Center Group, LLC and Investment Sales & Finance Team enable him to maximize his client’s property values, whether they are selling, holding or refinancing. Mark’s education includes a BBA in Finance from Georgia State University.
Mark’s responsibilities include creation of a TARGET LIST of BUYERS for electronic distribution & direct mailers, direct marketing (phone call) to the top 100 buyers, coordination of advertisement of the property, meeting with aerial photographer to discuss area photos needed, oversee development & completion of Pre Marketing Brochure (Introduction Letter/Executive Summary) & Confidential Retail Property Offering (Marketing Package) and on-site property tours. |
