This frozen custard chain is expanding its footprint with a Fort Mill location.
Whit’s Frozen Custard has signed a lease for 1,494 square feet at the Carolina Commerce Center. That 8,100-square-foot shopping center is located on Highway 160, near the intersection of Interstate 77.
Whit’s expects to open the location — its first in South Carolina — in early 2019. Franchisee David Berlin is behind that store.
Frozen custard will be made on-site daily. Expect vanilla, chocolate and a weekly special flavor. Whit’s uses fresh cream and pasteurized eggs as well as premium chocolate, fruit and nut toppings.
The Granville, Ohio chain has nearly 50 locations in eight states.
Trip Harris with Lat Purser represented the landlord on the lease, and Will MacBain with The Shopping Center Group represented the tenant.
